Grupo del Castillo and Lopesan have awakened a partnership that they set up 24 years ago in the Mercurio building in Playa del Inglés, south of Gran Canaria, in order to control the land where the golden mile of tourism in the South of Gran Canaria will be developed : near where the Masaveu and Votorantim Asturian cement factory is: Ceisa, El Pajar soil.

The Santa Águeda Sun Golf company has been sleeping the dream of the just until now that the authorizations to operate are coming because said space can now be exploited. "This has been effective since June 12," said a source in the operation who asked not to be named. Former soccer player David Silva and a series of industrial businessmen from Las Palmas, who make up the capital of Cordial Hotels, have their hopes for hotel development in that area.

Santa Águeda Sun Golf, created for the promotion, construction, sale, lease or exploitation of plots, urbanizations, homes and chalets, is one of the few companies in which the Del Castillo group and Lopesan have common interests despite the legend of existence of common bad experiences in the past: one of the operations they have in common is the Maspalomas golf course business.

The two business groups have liquidated the company's board and carried out a capital increase of 1,6 million euros, bringing it to 4,5 million euros. All the families disappear from the council, although Eustasio López and Pedro Agustín del Castillo continue indirectly since what is now generated are joint powers in two companies: Invertur Helsan and Tinojai.

Fernando del Castillo y Benítez de Lugo, who also leaves the board of Santa Águeda Sun Golf, said in 2023 that the "port is the first step, but the fight continues to continue justifying the need to definitively relocate this heavy cement industry, betting for a quality tourism project for the clear benefit of our essential and main economic sector".
