The City Council reorganizes the service, increasing the frequency of cleaning in the busiest points
It also makes the planning of the street cleaning service available to citizens and an email to communicate needs and suggestions.
The Mogán City Council reorganizes the street cleaning service to improve the condition of the neighborhoods. In this way, the frequency of cleaning actions is increased in those points where the volume of traffic is greater and, therefore, they become dirty more quickly. Thus, in areas where the service used to operate once every seven or ten days, it now does so two to three times a week.
The Councilor for Street Cleaning, Willy García, points out that the reorganization of the service has been decided “after several meetings with the technicians of the Public Services department and foremen of the cleaning service.” Citizens will be able to consult the new schedule of the street cleaning service on the official Facebook and Instagram profiles of the Consistory, which indicates the day and the type of action that will be carried out at each point – mainly cleaning, although the machines also operate. sweepers and workers.
As an example, García cited the new underpass crossing the GC-500. Until now, the bus service ran once every 10 days, but with the new schedule , it will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. “Another high-traffic area is Pérez Galdós Square, given its proximity to the church, schools, municipal offices, and parking garage. The bus service will also operate here on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays,” he noted.

On the other hand, and with the aim of continuing to improve street cleaning services, the councilor explained that residents can use the email address serviciopublicos@mogan.es . “We would like residents to participate by sending us their opinions and letting us know what they think is needed to achieve the level of excellence we want,” he stated, reminding everyone that the free Mogán Town Hall mobile app is also available, which includes a section called 'Report Complaints or Incidents,' an easy-to-use tool that immediately forwards information to the relevant department.
“We will always answer. We want the people to be participants so that everything is clean and we are an example of a team between citizens and the Government group,” she emphasizes.
