The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Puerto Rico-Mogán, in Gran Canaria, investigated three men on February 16, two of them aged between 18 and 45 years and the third a minor with antecedent numbers, as alleged perpetrators. of a crime of robbery with force in things, a crime of robbery or theft of use of a motor vehicle and a crime of damage, by accessing the establishment of a rent a car and stealing numerous sets of keys from different vehicles and a vehicle in the municipality of Puerto Rico.

The Civil Guard was made aware of the events that occurred as a result of the complaint filed by the person in charge of a vehicle rental business, who reported that during the early hours of February 16 they had been the victim of a robbery with force in their establishment, detect that the sliding door was forced and removed from the frame and the rail, denouncing that the perpetrators had stolen numerous sets of keys and a vehicle.
Therefore, efforts were carried out to try to obtain the necessary evidence to identify the alleged perpetrators of the events that occurred, carrying out tasks aimed at clarifying the events and collecting recordings from security surveillance cameras.
The agents obtain recordings in which they see how three individuals access the establishment and, after trying several keys and vehicles in the area, activate the light signals of a Skoda Fabia that was parked in the vicinity of the business, stealing the vehicle; which was located at dawn on February 17, blocking public roads with serious damage in the municipality of Telde.
In addition, the Civil Guard began a search mechanism with the aim of locating and arresting the alleged perpetrators, and after collecting the necessary evidence of the reported criminal infractions, as well as the collaboration of agents from the Mogán Local Police, proceeded to investigate as perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force in things, a crime of robbery or theft of use of a motor vehicle and a crime of damage to three people, one of them being a minor.
The proceedings and those investigated were placed at the disposal of the Court of San Bartolomé de Tirajana on guard duty.
