The off-duty Civil Guard learned of the events on the afternoon of September 02, when around 15:30 p.m. she went to make purchases at the supermarket, located in Vecindario, when she left the shopping cart in the designated area. In the parking lots, he noticed the crying of a baby near the area he was in, observing how inside a vehicle parked there was a minor of a few months old, alone and with the windows slightly lowered, not observing There was no responsible adult in the vicinity and there were adverse weather conditions that could have been dangerous for the baby since the temperature was approximately 30 degrees outside the vehicle.
