In Tunte , in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana , highs of 33 degrees Celsius are expected , reaching up to 37 degrees Celsius on Thursday the 24th . In the town of Mogán , the maximum temperatures will rise from 32 to 36 degrees Celsius during the same period. These are forecast values for these inland areas, so temperatures may differ in Maspalomas and on the southern beaches.
Nights will also be warmer. In the town of Mogán , lows could reach 27 degrees Celsius on Thursday. There will be plenty of sunshine with some cloud cover later and little chance of rain. A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Friday, with highs of 35 degrees in Tunte and 33 in Mogán.
In the southeast , the heat will intensify as the week progresses. In the town of Agüimes , highs will rise from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius starting Wednesday , while lows will be around 26 degrees on Thursday and Friday . In the mid-altitude areas, the town of Santa Lucía de Tirajana could reach 37 degrees Celsius on Thursday . The forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloud cover and a slight chance of rain.
Temperatures will also rise in northern Gran Canaria , although it will be milder than in the aforementioned inland areas. Highs of 27 and 31 degrees Celsius are expected in Arucas on Thursday and Friday , respectively. Lows will hover around 24 degrees Celsius on those two days. Clouds will alternate with sunny spells, and the chance of rain is low.
